Virtual Reality as a Tool to Reduce Bias and Stereotype Threat • STEM Education Hour

Dr. Tabitha Peck (MAT/CSC) shares her research using virtual reality (VR) to create body-ownership illusions (BOIs) that reduce the negative effects of stereotype threat and implicit bias in the classroom by mediating implicit behavior to cause attitude changes that persist beyond the virtual environment.
