Motivation, Self-Efficacy, and Self-Regulation • FIRST Inclusive Education Presentation

Dr. Rosalba Esparragoza (HSP) shares her doctoral research regarding the perceived role of motivational constructs, self-efficacy, and the use of metacognitive self-regulation strategies by college students. Her findings highlight the role of self-efficacy and the importance of using effective learning strategies. Consequently, the significance of material design, quality instruction, and motivation can prompt learners to identify and develop self-regulated strategies that may enhance intrinsic motivation and engagement in the learning process.
