Three Miles • Inclusive Education Podcast Discussion

The number of students coming from underrepresented backgrounds and entering college has increased significantly. Esther Lherisson ’19 (FIRST Program Analyst) leads a discussion of podcast episode Three Miles to examine the structural and emotional barriers of students who are accepted into elite colleges from lower-income institutions. By examining the experiences of those who attempted to get into college and those who succeeded, we can build upon current strategies to increase student engagement and resiliency in higher education.
