Deadline to apply for 2020-21 FIRST RATE

FIRST RATE (Resources and Time for Exploration) provides a course release, professional development funds, and a cohort for continuing Davidson NSM faculty members who develop new STEM courses and/or reimagine their existing STEM courses in a wide variety of ways that promote inclusion.  More information on FIRST RATE and its application process can be found at this link.

The first step for 2020-21 course releases/cohorts is a quick, non-binding intent to apply email to me and your chair by 10.01.19, followed by an application due 11.01.19.  Applicants for 2021-22 and 2022-23 course releases/cohorts are encouraged to apply at any time through a new rolling, “early decision” process (also described at this link).
