DESCRIPTION:An opportunity to attend the one-day North Carolina PKAL Regional Network‘s Spring Conference in Greensboro\, NC featuring a keynote by chemist Dr. Saundra Yancy McGuire (LSU)\, author of Teach Students How to Learn: Strategies You Can Incorporate into Any Course to Improve Student Metacognition\, Study Skills\, and Motivation. \nThe conference will also include concurrent sessions\, workshops\, and poster presentations to address effective strategies for influencing student learning with a focus on metacogntion\, instructional strategies in e-learning environments\, and strategies for instructor learning that help student learning.
