Drs. Lauren Stutts (HHV) and Byron McCrae (DoS) will share results of a four-year study regarding Davidson student stress and resiliency for the first half of the session, which includes a key finding on the strong association between belongingness and academic engagement. Representatives from Davidson’s Minority Association for Pre-Medical Students (MAPS) will share recommendations for increasing belongingness in STEM classrooms for the second half of the session.
